Merry Christmas to all!

The boys are looking forward to Santa visiting their house. We took them to see Santa this past weekend, and I am glad that we waited closer to Christmas to visit the "big guy". Both boys had a more positive experience after talking about him for the past few weeks...no Prather boys crying this year. Next year might be a different story.

May you have a safe and blessed Christmas!!!
Here are some photos of the boys when we were trying to get our Christmas card done. As you can imagine it took a lot of photos to get just one to put on the card.

Cooper went for his one month check-up on Friday. All is well and he weighed 10 lbs. 4 oz. and was 22 1/4 long. He is no longer my biggest baby...Carson weighed 10 lbs. 8 oz. at his one month.

2 weeks old and a shopper...

Sunday Chris kept the older boys and put up some Christmas lights outside while they played in the snow. Camden has convienently reminded Chris daily that we don't have lights on our house. So he was so excited to help put them up. Cooper and I went shopping for the day with my Mom, Abby and Bennett. We usually go on Black Friday but that didn't work out since Cooper was only a week old. We had a great time and made up for it yesterday and found some really good deals. Cooper was great and didn't even know he went to the mall.

All Aboard!!!!

Saturday we took the boys to ride the Polar Bear Express Train ride in Fishers. It was such a great experience for them. About a week ago we watched the movie Polar Express on T.V., so they were already familiar with the story. We started out in the train station where we watched the Polar Express filmstrip while it was read aloud. Then we were greeted by Santa and Mrs. Claus who invited us to ride the train with them. Santa's elves handed out a snack and some juice. The boys were in awe of Santa and the whole experience.

Turkey Day...

Thanksgiving went really well considering we had a newborn who was 6 days old. It was nice to get out of the house. It was Cooper's first trip out of the house as well. We had a relaxing day and a lot to be thankful for this year.
Camden enjoying the Quinnette tradition of having our holiday Jaime's drink...his choice...Sprite:)

Proud Papaw Q. with his 2 newest grandsons. I think Cooper was awake maybe 20 minutes the entire day.

Memaw taking a break from all of that cooking.
Camden just can't get enough of Cooper.
Awake long enough to get one picture of him with his eyes open.Carson's not missing out on dessert. He loves Chocolate Cream Pie.

Cooper's First Week...

Just wanted to share a few photos of Cooper's first week. We are loving having him around. We had lots of help last week between Memaw Q. and Memaw P., and then Andrew and Madi came to visit and took the boys to Bounce Planet. It is going well and the boys show lots of interest in him right now. Camden is so cute in the things he has to say to Cooper. We just crack up. And Carson mimicks everything Camden says. Cooper had his one week check-up and he weighed 8 lbs 5 oz. and is a little jaundice, so we have to take him back on Friday. I am sure by then he will be at (and probably will have surpassed) his birth weight.

Family Sleepover

Last weekend we decided that we would have a little sleepover and sleep on the floor with the boys. We wanted to do something special with them before the baby came. They were super excited about this. We made a night of it. I made Chili for dinner, Chris made a fire in the fireplace and then we made some smores...sooo good I must say! Then we set up the sleeping bags and blankets. We played Candy Land and Hi-O Cherry-O, and ended the night watching a movie. The boys did very well sleeping on the floor and they were ready to all over again the next night.
Camden roasted his own marshmellow. Carson wasn't so fond of the idea...he thought it was too hot.
Enjoying their smores!

I think we let Daddy win that night.

I think they are ready for their own sleeping bags. Camden has picked out a pirate sleeping bag and Carson a dinosaur one out of one of my magazines. Camden actually thought Chris was going to bring it home from work that night so he could sleep in it...maybe for Christmas:)
**************************************************
Chris wasn't going to get home until really late on Tuesday so I took the boys out to run some errands and we stopped at Chick-fil-a to grab a bite to eat. Tuesdays are Kids' Night. They eat free, get a balloon, play in the play place, and get their faces painted. Camden decided that he wanted Batman and Carson got a Frog Prince painted. They couldn't stop looking in the mirror, and I let them sleep with it on since they got them painted so late in the night.

Carson kept calling his Frog Prince a "Princess Turtle"

Welcome Bennett!

Yesterday at 5:01 Bennett Wilson Ford entered the world. The boys have their first cousin and my first nephew on the Quinnette side. He is as precious as you can imagine. Everyone is healthy and doing great! We went up to visit him just hours after he was born. The boys couldn't wait to get to the hospital to see him. Camden actually thought he was going to get to see Bennett be born, and Carson was amazed that he moved.
Bennett Wilson...weighing in at 6 lbs. 9 oz. and 19 in. long
