Bryce turns 5!

Sunday we went down to Greenwood to Bryce's birthday party. It was a water/Star Wars theme. Camden some how managed to be the first kid to get wet. Go figure. I guess Mrs. Armstrong (Brandon's mom) didn't know what she was doing when she picked Camden to squirt the squirt gun at...he doesn't have much self-control when comes to this. At the time Bryce was still opening his gifts. Camden was all about getting other people wet but wanted no part of getting wet himself. Mommy and Daddy had no pity though, if he was going to play he was going to get wet. Carson was the smart one. He didn't want to get wet so he just stayed clear of the water all together. All of the kids, including some "big kids" enjoyed the water fight. I put the complete album online.

They had a water balloon toss but Camden's was quick lived when he figured out (again) that he could get wet.

Bryce's Star Wars cake. The kids put down the water long enough to have some cake. Bryce's little sister, Elise is right there "testing" out the cake.

Later on they had a little bonfire. The kids roasted marshmellows and made smores. This was a first for the boys and as you can see they loved them! We will definitely have to have more of these as the year goes on.
