This weekend was the kickoff for Noblesville Youth Basball. We had Opening Ceremonies on Friday night, complete with a fly over and a couple of rounds of "Take Me Out to the Ball Game." Camden's team, the Bees, have had a couple of practices over the last month and were all ready to play bright and early Saturday morning at 8:00. All but 2 of Camden's games start at 8:00. And just when we think we will move to a later time next year, it will be Carson's turn. It was a beautiful day and Camden really had a good time. He understands the game so much more than last year. It is amazing what a difference a year makes. Here are some of the differences I noticed:
1. He's not the smallest on the team
2. He actually wanted to play the outfield instead of just hit
3. He stood in the defensive position
4. No "snow angels" were made (yet)
5. He didn't cry

All of the pictures from Opening Ceremonies and the first game are in the web albums.
