New best friends for one and no more crib for the other

Well as always the boys are ever changing and there is always something new around here. It seems that Carson has adopted Elmo and Duck as his new best friends...they now take priority over mommy, daddy, and Camden. He has become very possessive of them and is currently sleeping with Duck. They are better known around here as MoMo and Quack Quack. They both are about to drive Mommy and Daddy crazy because Elmo sings and dances the "Hokey Pokey" and the Duck plays "If Your Happy and You Know It." They go everywhere with him...dragging Duck by the hair and Elmo by the Hand. It is quite hysterical to watch.

Here he got them all lined up and then sat next to them to watch "Little Einsteins". That didn't stop him from playing them every once in awhile. Camden is now without crib...so if anyone wants him for a night he is free without charge. We took down his crib Sunday afternoon and decided to put the mattress on the floor and let him sleep on that until his new bed comes in. We have recently ordered a full-over-full bunkbed in hopes that by getting full size beds now means we won't ever have to buy beds again. He seems very excited about the idea of this change. He has been having troubles falling asleep because he is afraid of the dark. We have tried just about everything but he still insists on sleeping with the light on. We just go in and turn out the light before we go to bed. So we thought an overall change was needed and we have been wanting to get him out of the crib anyway...afterall he is about to turn 3. As you will notice he doesn't have any bedding yet because we haven't picked that out and he insists on sleeping with that black blanket.
